Brashear was on the road to Higbee Monday for a varsity basketball doubleheader. In the girls game, Brashear took a slim 16-13 lead after one quarter and led 29-27 at halftime. Higbee managed to take a 42-41 lead after 3 quarters. Brashear managed to retake the lead in the 4th and held on for a 53-51 win.
